Parañaque blaze leaves 600 families homeless

Some 600 families were left homeless when a fire hit a residential area between Linotype Street and Dr. A. Santos Avenue (formerly Sucat Road) in Para˜aque City, a blaze that a fire official said was the biggest yet to hit southern Metro Manila this year.

What the reporter failed to mention is that the fire could have been less damaging if it were not for the El Shaddai (a religious group)trooping to their place of worship that hindered the fire trucks from getting to the blaze on time.
