Imelda Marcos' US$10-M worth of gems may be auctioned in RP

"FORMER First Lady Imelda Marcos' vast collection of shoes and gowns and eye-popping jewels worth 10 million dollars could soon be auctioned off..."
The article didn't really specify that the auction would be held here in the Philippines.

But, it made me think though (i know, i know, that's a real stretch for me), but am I correct in assuming that maybe, the only persons who could afford these are the new breed of corrupt people? The ones who are looting the country now?

So, now, follow me here.... This is symbolic to the passing of the mantle from the old generation to the new generation.
