Gonzales says nothing, gets cited for contempt

"Senator Joker Arroyo, chair of the panel, said that because the national security adviser had "refused to answer questions which are relevant and material to the matter under inquiry, the committee without any objection hereby cites Gonzales in contempt and orders his detention until he answers the questions asked."...


Well, wouldn't the guy have the right to remain silent? Anyone of these SENATORS know of that little known right? I didn't know that the right to avoid irritation due to silence is greater than the right to remain silent...
