New Zealand shuts down missile project

"The New Zealand government has moved aggressively to shut down this project -- and by using quite unscrupulous methods which appear to be in breach of the law."

Remember the DIY missile? The aim was to construct a cruise missile for under US$5000. If I'm not mistaken, most of the parts were bought on Ebay.

Now the NZ government came and shut down the project. Without due process as I understood it.

I think this is the missing chapter from the Return of the King movie; The Scouring of the Shire. Middle Earth, indeed.
