DON'T BLINK, YOU MIGHT MISS IT
Last Thursday was Independence Day for the Philippines. I'm pretty much sure no one noticed it. Why? Because it was not declared a non-working holiday and that "holiday" was moved Friday. Can anyone imagine the US celebrating the 4th of July on the 5th?
My belated advice? Next time why not just cancel Independence Day here since even Government doesn't deem it important enough to celebrate on that day. Nationalism indeed.
I hear Christmas would be moved to January 1 for practicality's sake.
AND NOW, FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT...
