Jim Allchin, former Co-President, Platforms & Services Division of Microsoft, wrote those words to Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer on January 7. Jim Allchin retired from Microsoft as of Jan. 30, 2007 – the day on which Microsoft officially released the Windows Vista operating system to consumers.I wonder if Jim now bought a Mac after retiring.
