Miss International's Nanny Speech

"...Precious Lara Quigaman, the Miss Philippines who took home the 2005 Miss International crown, was asked during the final round the following question:
What do you say to the people of the world who have typecasted filipinos as nannies?

...That wasn't Quigaman's winning answer.

Miss International traditionally doesn't have a final question.

The finalists each do a speech about what their cause is and what they would do if they were Miss International. Her speech was about helping children and their need for education..."

So it's all a hoax folks.

It never happened. If you think about it, she didn't even mention World Peace.

Stop emailing me that darned thing.

But wait, did Beauty Queen Beauty Pageant Winner Precious Lara Quigaman ever refute that story? Did she ever come out and say it never happened? No teary eyed press conferences saying that all those emails going around are not true? No libel suits against the perpetrators of those emails. But then again, why would she?

I hear she wants to get into showbiz now. Maybe she'll end up typecasted as a beauty pageant winning nanny. Hehehe. Albeit an intelligent and cute beauty pageant winning nanny.
